Triops
Posted by Anja on July 9, 2012 at 17:20 | Last modified: July 9, 2012 17:20I was fascinated by Sea Monkeys as a kid, and when I saw a stand at St.Laurent selling Triops eggs last Christmas, I was doomed.
They were kicking around in my office during the colder season, because I didn’t want to set up a heated tank for hatching them, but now it’s hot enough, and I set them up in one of those little plastic critter thingies that are habitually (and evilly) sold for bettas. Yesterday the first two hatched. They are super tiny, but amazing active, whizzing this way and that, and I’m as excited as I was as a kid.
